The passion that formed the business is still a vital part of our direction and service.  After 20 years of being in business, I am still inspired by the unique, diverse, yet connected team that now forms LET’s Authorized Training Providers.   LET has strong representation throughout Ontario, covering a broad range of industries and sectors.

Over the years I have written articles about the benefits of joining Life’s Emergency Training team as a Licensed Authorized Provider (instructor). Attracting newcomers to the industry, with individualized benefits:

  • The freedom and flexibility to create your own vision;
  • An extensive list of training options, including WSIB approved courses; BLS, Mental Health Awareness, Babysitting and Home Alone, WHMIS, etc.;
  • In-class courses and computer-based training (blended) options with all supporting documentation provided;
  • Control over your business. Maintain income to drive a healthy income for you and your family OR augment existing income OR simply provide training as a consultant for other providers that have a conflict with a training dates;
  • Exhaustive, in-depth Instructor Training Manual, to provide the knowledge you need and the tools to get you through every classroom situation.

Over the last year, the team has grown, not only with newcomers to the industry, but established First Aid Training providers looking for an alternate to the ‘Big 5’. The new LAPs to our team began their search for an alternate provider based on the above noted points.  Through initial conversations, as they were further exploring how LET could be benefit their already established business(es), the list of benefits only increased, wile maintaining the individualized options:

  • Lower Carrying costs.  In some case training materials were less than half of the ‘Big 5’;
  • High quality training content and materials; WSIB approved EFA, SFA and SFA Re-cert;
  • Relationship with owner and core team.  You know the person you are speaking with, and we know you and your business;
  • Variety of courses offered, creating one-stop-shopping, eliminating the need for multiple training providers;
  • Joining a large team of like-minded entrepreneurs; tapping into a pool of trainers so training dates meet clients’ needs;
  • Simplified LAP process for those individuals that hold valid trainer certifications;
  • Low annual overheads, providing access for all authorized trainers to access current training materials and resources.

Life’s Emergency Training is relationship driven, whether that be our LAPs, our clients, our independent contractors or suppliers. We know this level of personal connection is one of the benefits of being a smaller operation.
