Act FAST!
What do you do when you see these symptoms:
- Face drooping?
- Arms unable to raise?
- Speech is slurred or jumbled?
- If you said call 9-1-1 right away, you’re right. Time is of the utmost importance.
These signs could mean a stroke is occurring. June is National Stroke Awareness Month. The FAST acronym has been designed to help you recognize signs and act fast! Do not offer someone having a stroke any food or medicines. Stay calm and positive and wait for medical assistance to arrive.
